Beau T stood nicely for the farrier.  Mr. Gerald gave his honest observations of his condition, age, and did some on-the-spot dental work.

He's used to getting a mani-pedi, at his age, not a senior, but no spring chicken....

"With these two hands..."  Mr Gerald, farrier, blacksmith and artist is 75 and in semi-retirement.  We're lucky he came out, and I took notes since he's got great tips and contacts.  I found out he loves fried green tomatoes and mustard greens, so I'll be making sure we have plenty of both coming up in the garden before his next visit out!

I love fried green tomatoes my mother used to make them for us when I was a child long before Kathy Bates made them popular. They are delicious my friend and I used to fry yellow squash in the same way, and just the other day I deep fried yellow squash and zucchini so good. Then I wonder why my belly isn't getting smaller even though I am eating less. Okay that's a lie I don't wonder why I know the answer. About your farrier my friend in Texas has three horses and she has considered learning the trade. She lives in a small city and the farrier who is available lives in another county from what I understand. Do you know if that is because there are not many farriers considering the amount of horses in the USA. About astrology can you tell me if it is true that November 21st is not always a Scorpio that it has been Sagittarius in the past depending on the year. When my granddaughter was born and I was checking which sign she was I read that this is true. I can't for the life of me remember which astrological website I saw it on. Your farm is beautiful you are living out many peoples dream life. Have continued success in all your endeavors.
Sincerely, S. Burnett-Gonzalez
